The Papercrafting Group meets on the first Thursday afternoon of each month, from 1.30 - 3.30 pm at Peel House (Old Police Station). No charges at the moment, as we are bringing our own refreshments. This may change at a later date.
We mostly enjoy card-making and scrapbooking, but are keen to experiment with any paper-based craft. We have so far tried Book folding, Form-a-Line, Iris Folding, Tea bag folding, Tea bag printing and stitching and, of course, embossing and decoupage.
We would love to welcome you to our group; experts and beginners will feel equally at home. Please bring along your basic tool kit and be prepared to share your skills — we all learn from each other!
Your family and friends will be delighted with your efforts and you will enjoy good company.
We have occasionally enjoyed outings to craft warehouses and workshops. These may involve lunch!
Please contact the Papercrafting Group Leader before you come, just to make sure that we’re not off on a jaunt somewhere, and to make sure we have enough space.
